Cancellation instructions

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier takes possession of the last goods.

(Note: The statutory cancellation period is 14 days. We voluntarily extend it to 30 days.)

inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but this is not required. You can also request a return directly online through your customer account.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send notice that you are exercising your right to cancel before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received notice of your cancellation of this contract.

For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than within 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires.

Return costs

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Compensation for loss in value & inspection of tools

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value results from handling them in a way that was not necessary to inspect their condition, properties, and functionality.

Important note on inspecting tools & equipment:

The goods may only be inspected to the extent that would have been possible and customary in a retail store (visual and functional inspection without actual use). If tools or power tools (such as double-lock seamers, folding tools, or sheet metal tools) are used on a construction site or on materials and consequently show signs of use or abrasion, this constitutes use. The resulting loss in value (for example, because the goods must be resold as used B-stock or refurbished) will be deducted from the refund.

Reasons for exclusion or early expiration

The right of withdrawal does not apply or expires early for contracts:

• for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and whose production depends on an individual selection or specification by the consumer, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs are ;
• for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would soon be exceeded;
• for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

How to initiate your return

You can conveniently request a return directly through your customer account or contact us by email at support@roofify.de contact us.

Return shipping options & costs:

1. Our return service for standard parcels (Germany): If you wish, we can provide you with a DHL return label for standard-size parcels. We charge a flat fee of €9.99, which is deducted directly from your refund.
2. Return shipping for bulky goods & freight: The flat fee of €9.99 does not apply to items that cannot be shipped as standard parcels due to their size or weight (e.g. sheet metal folding machines, large tool sets, bulky goods, or freight shipments). In this case, return shipping costs are calculated individually based on the effort involved and deducted from the refund or billed separately.
3. Ship it yourself: You can also arrange the return yourself through a shipping carrier of your choice. In this case, you pay the shipping costs directly to the carrier.

Return shipping deadlines & cancellation of the return label

After registering your return or receiving our return label, you have 14 days to hand over the parcel to a shipping provider (e.g., DHL) (§ 355 (3) BGB.

• ⚠️ Label cancellation after 14 days: If the provided return label is not used to hand over the parcel within 14 days, the barcode/QR code will expire and be canceled in our system.
• ⚠️ Late return: If the statutory 14-day return period expires without the parcel being handed over, your return will be overdue. In this case, we reserve the right to refuse late or unannounced returns, or to deduct any resulting damages or loss in value from your refund.

Requirements for a full refund

To qualify for a full refund, please ensure that the goods:

• is unused and shows no signs of use (especially no use at a construction site, scratches on tool cases, or material residue)
• is returned complete, including all accessories, instructions, and case/container
• is in its original packaging

Special conditions for bundles (product sets)

• Full return: You’ll receive a refund of the full bundle purchase price.
• Partial return: If you keep part of a bundle, we’ll charge the regular individual price for the items you keep. The bundle discount will therefore be reduced accordingly.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get the item you want is to return the unsuitable item and then place a new order in the shop.

Shipping damage and defects

Please check your order as soon as you receive it. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at support@roofify.deso we can arrange a replacement or solution as quickly as possible.

Refund processing time

Once we have received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you by email. After approval, we’ll refund the amount to your original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take a few days for the refund to appear in your account.
