The ABS B-Lock is a modern self-retracting lifeline (SRL) that reliably supports you when working at height - whether on a flat roof, at the parapet, on trapezoidal sheet metal or during hall construction. In roofing and sheet metal work supplies, one thing matters above all: an SRL that is quickly ready for use, runs out smoothly and blocks immediately in an emergency. That is exactly what the B-Lock is designed for.
Use (specialist application)
- Attach to a suitable anchor point/anchorage device in accordance with the risk assessment
- Connect to your personal fall protection equipment (e.g. full-body harness) using the carabiner - ensure proper positioning, clearance and avoid swing falls
- Work with controlled cable payout: The device follows your movement and blocks immediately under sudden loading
- Visual inspection before every use (housing, webbing, stitching, carabiner, fall indicator) + regular inspection by a qualified person
