Product description for use on roofs and construction sites

The ABS B-Lock is a modern retractable fall arrester (RFA) that reliably supports you when working at height – whether on a flat roof, at the parapet, on trapezoidal sheet metal, or during hall construction. In roofing and sheet-metal work supplies, one thing matters most: an RFA that is ready to use quickly, pays out smoothly, and locks immediately in an emergency. That’s exactly what the B-Lock is designed for.

Use (professional applications)

• Attach to a suitable anchor point/anchorage device in accordance with the risk assessment
• Connect to your personal fall protection equipment (e.g. a fall-arrest harness) using the carabiner – make sure it is correctly fitted, there is sufficient clearance, and the risk of a swing fall is considered
• Work with controlled cable payout: the device moves with you and locks immediately under a sudden load
• Inspect visually before each use (housing, webbing, stitching, carabiner, fall indicator) + have it inspected regularly by a qualified person
