Practical applications

Professional torch-welding of roofing membranes

With the Sievert - PRO 88 torch-welding burner set HBS 2960, you work exactly the way modern roofing demands: You heat the underside of the membrane in a controlled manner, guide the flame evenly along the seam, and create a secure bead of molten bitumen. This gives you watertight transitions, clean joints, and reliable adhesion – especially for bituminous waterproofing on flat roofs (e.g. connections, valleys, edge areas, and detail points).

Preheating work & detail waterproofing

In addition to welding, the set is also suitable for preheating substrates, preparing bitumen surfaces, and precise detail work where you need steady flame control and a secure base (support foot included). Practical tip: Work in steady passes, keep a consistent distance, and follow the membrane manufacturer's material specifications.
