WHAT IS A DOUBLE SEAMER?

The double seamer is an essential professional tool for roofers and plumbers to create precise double lock seams in standing seam profiles.
It enables quick and secure closing of metal panels in just one step.

CAN THE TOOL ALSO DO SINGLE SEAMS?

Yes. By removing rollers 4 and 5, the machine can also be flexibly used for single lock seams.
This provides maximum versatility on the construction site – with just one tool.

IS THE DOUBLE SEAMER FASTER?

Yes – significantly faster.
With speeds of up to 30 m/min, it is one of the fastest seaming machines on the market.

Unlike conventional two-stage devices, the seaming process takes place in just one step.
This saves time, reduces effort, and significantly increases efficiency.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DRIVE?

The machine is operated with a cordless drill:

• Minimum: 60 Nm (for softer materials)
• Recommended: 110 Nm
• Maximum: 150 Nm

For optimal results, Roofify recommends using a powerful, professional cordless drill with high torque.

WHAT SEAM HEIGHTS ARE POSSIBLE?

The double seamer is designed for standard standing seam systems with the following seam heights:

• 25 mm (1")
• 32 mm (1.25")
• 38 mm (1.5")

This makes it compatible with the most common standing seam profiles in Europe and worldwide.

WHY IS THERE NO CUTTING FUNCTION?

Quite intentionally: This machine is designed for maximum precision in seaming – not for cutting.
When cutting, metal shavings, dust, and particles can damage sensitive components and shorten the tool's lifespan.

For clean and safe cuts, Roofify recommends a specialized solution such as the Seam Cutter.

• The design or parameters of the product have been altered.
