With the SIEVERT Thermoweld 40 400V welding machine, you get a genuine professional tool when you want to weld roof membranes cleanly, securely and permanently - without experiments, but with maximum process reliability. Especially on large areas of a flat roof, consistent seam quality matters: constant temperature, stable movement and controlled contact pressure. That is exactly what the Thermoweld 40 is built for.
The welding machine works with a 40 mm welding width and is ideal for PVC and TPO membranes. You can precisely adjust the temperature, air volume and speed to suit the material, substrate and weather conditions. This gives you reproducible results - from the first membrane to the last. Compared with a hand burner or manual hot-air welding, you save time, reduce potential sources of error and significantly increase seam reliability.
Use in everyday roofing work
You position the Thermoweld welding machine along the overlap, align the machine precisely with the seam guide and select the parameters according to the membrane and outside temperature. The welding process then runs in a controlled manner along the section: Hot air activates the surface, while the defined contact pressure reliably bonds the layers.
For details, connections or tight areas, you can sensibly combine the machine with hand tools - e.g. a suitable burner/hot-air tool, pressure roller and seam tester. This makes the Thermoweld a strong component of modern roofing supplies and a genuine efficiency booster on the construction site.
