You attach the appropriate flat nozzle (20 mm or 40 mm) to your hot air hand tool and guide the hot air evenly into the overlap area of the membrane. Immediately afterwards, you work the weld zone with the pressure roller:

• Silicone pressure roller (28 mm) for even, material-friendly pressure on straight seams
• Brass pressure roller (6 mm) for detailed areas, corners, upstands, and edge zones

Then you reliably test the seam with the seam tester – this way you identify weak points early, before moisture becomes an issue. For precise cuts, you have a setup with foil shears and clean handling in the case that is truly designed as roofing tools.
